Product Description:

●This product is made by hot-rolling steel billets into slender, elongated circular sections, then rolling them into compact rings. It is characterized by uniform diameter, good surface quality, excellent drawability, and stable mechanical properties.

●Optional materials include: low carbon steel (Q195, Q235, SAE1006, SAE1008), medium carbon steel (SAE1045, SAE1050), high carbon steel (SAE1060, SAE1070, SAE1080), alloy steel (40Cr, 20Mn2, 35CrMo), stainless steel (201, 304, 316L), and spring steel (65Mn).

●Diameter range: 5.5mm-25mm. Coil weight: 0.5-2.5 tons (typical). Surface treatment: black (rolled), pickled and oiled, or phosphated.

●Manufacturing Process: Controlled rolling and controlled cooling (Stermore process) are employed to obtain a fine-grained microstructure and a uniform decarburized layer.

●Optional Specifications: Cold heading quality (CHQ), welding wire quality, or straight-draw quality. Complies with ASTM A510, JIS G3505/G3506, EN 10016, or GB/T 14981 standards.

Application Description:

●Widely used for drawing into fine wires for manufacturing nails, wire mesh, fences, cables, and springs;

●Can be used as a raw material for manufacturing fasteners (bolts, screws, rivets), welding rods, concrete reinforcement, and wire ropes;

●Suitable for cold heading, cold forging, and further processing into various industrial and building components;

●Can be further processed into various welding wires and welding rods for welding manufacturing in steel structures, pressure vessels, and engineering machinery;

●After drawing and heat treatment, can be made into prestressed steel wire and steel strand, serving infrastructure projects such as bridges, high-rise buildings, and rail transit;

●Can be used to produce automotive parts, mechanical shafts, and wear-resistant components, suitable for the automotive manufacturing and general machinery industries;

●Stainless steel wire rods can be processed into food equipment parts, bathroom hardware, chemical filter screens, and marine engineering wires, suitable for special working conditions such as corrosion resistance, hygiene, and high temperatures.
